Wonrim Ryu

Mr. Ryu is one of the founders of InventGo IP & Law Group. At iCuerious, he advises the leadership team on establishing relationships with Technology Transfer departments of top-tier universities and R&D divisions of multinational Korean conglomerates, in projects related to state-of-the-art in the automobile space.

A qualified Patent Attorney and a Certified Valuation Analyst, Mr. Ryu brings more than a decade of diverse experience, including several years as an automotive and research engineer at Renault Samsung Motors and subsequently as a patent attorney in reputed law firms and IP Investment groups (namely, Lee International IP & Law Group, Y.P.LEE, MOCK & Partners and Intellectual Discovery Co., Ltd.). He has deep technology experience in areas as diverse as automotive engine development, smart cars, telematics, robotics, medical devices and computer architecture. Mr. Ryu is a renowned industry expert in designing IP and Patent Monetization strategy for Fortune 500 corporations, small and medium-sized businesses and individual inventors.

Mr. Ryu holds a B.S. and an M.S. from Seoul National University in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, respectively. He went on to complete his Ph.D. in Management of Technology from Korea University in 2014.

Kim Rubin

Mr. Rubin is a successful serial entrepreneur and has co-founded four companies, serving in technology leadership roles of CEO and CTO. He advises iCuerious on establishing long-term partnerships with high-tech clients, individual inventors and startups on the West Coast.

Mr. Rubin is a registered patent agent and an inventor, specializing in software, web, electronics and optics patents. He brings decades of experience in Intellectual Property development, analysis and valuation, and holds multiple patents in the domains of networking, communications and image processing.

Mr Rubin graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1975, majoring in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. At U.C. Berkeley, he invented the first mag-stripe, debit-card controlled copy machine controller, founding his first company XKR Research, Inc. in the process, which was profitably sold to Pitney Bowes. He was also inducted into the Engineering Honors Society. He has designed and delivered custom hardware to Disney Corporation, IBM, GE, and numerous US agencies.

Changsun Park

Mr. Park is one of the founding partners of InventGo IP & Law Group, a boutique firm comprising technical, legal and business experts which advises clients on their IP strategy and on maximizing returns on R&D investments. He advises iCuerious on establishing relationships with Technology Transfer departments of top-tier universities and R&D divisions of multinational Korean conglomerates, in projects related to state-of-the-art in consumer electronics and telecommunications.

He is a qualified Patent Attorney and a Certified Valuation Analyst. Prior to starting InventGo IP, Mr. Park gained rich experience as a Patent Attorney at Lee International IP & Law Group, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in Korea, and Intellectual Discovery Co., Ltd., one of the top IP investment firms based in Asia which serves global corporations in the US, China, Japan and Europe. His technical acumen extends across domains ranging from telecommunications, cloud computing, security, wireless power to consumer electronics, mobile applications and gaming. He provides consultative solutions to clients in the fields of patent portfolio mining, product search and prosecution strategy, and patent monetization via sales and licensing.

Mr. Park holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Law in Intellectual Property from Seoul National University. He also completed the Summer LLM Program Course at Santa Clara University in 2014.
